Bachelor of Education
The B.Ed. is a two-year, full-time teacher education programme recognized by the NCTE which prepares teachers for the secondary and higher secondary school level. Bombay Teachers’ Training College is a constituent college of HSNC University, Mumbai.
HSNC University, Mumbai, was constituted under sub-section (6) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016 (Mah. VI of 2017), the Government of Maharashtra vide notification no. The eligibility for the programme is graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission procedure is centralized and is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra.
Aspiring candidates have to appear for the Common Entrance Test. 50% of the seats are reserved for Sindhi minority candidates. Sindhi who must also appear for the CET as do the regular candidates.
