Our Vision: To Emerge as a Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education
The college has been conducting Orientation for B.Ed. Common Entrance Test every year in association with the Navy Wives Welfare Association. Initially it was exclusively for families of naval personnel, however in recent years we have kept admissions open for all B.Ed. aspirants. The CET orientation serves as an orientation to the teaching profession for many aspiring teachers. The programme is conducted for a period of two weeks during the month of April every year. A nominal fee is charged for the programme.
The college offers Orientation for the Teacher Eligibility Test to its enrolled students as well as to its alumni and in-service teachers who aspire to ace the TET. The orientation has helped many students to clear the TET by the time they pass out of the B.Ed. programme. The sessions are conducted throughout the year on Saturdays. A nominal fee is charged for the programme.
