2 years Bachelor of Education Programme – Intake capacity 50

The B.Ed. is a full-time teacher education programme recognized by the NCTE which prepares teachers for the secondary and higher secondary school level. The eligibility for the programme is graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission procedure is centralised and is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra. Aspiring candidates have to appear for the Common Entrance Test. 50% of the seats are reserved for Sindhi minority candidates. Sindhi who must also appear for the CET as do the regular candidates.

2 years Diploma in Elementary Education Programme – Intake capacity 50

The D.El.Ed. is a two-year professional programme of teacher education. It aims to prepare teachers for the elementary stage of education. The course is recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (MSCERT). Admission is centralized while the college directly admits 10 candidates from the college quota.
